Painting and Drawing Autumn 2026

Creativity was helped by a trip to Porto and Sevilla! Following on from Summer Art 2026.

Acryllic Pens

I think I've found another of my artistic happy places in acrylic pens. I've wanted to get back to some acrylic paints, but didn't like that I couldn't travel with them. Bought some cheap acrylic markers and fell in love.

Fast to dry, can layer and blend and easy to travel with!

Here's one of my "traditional" bright colour bombs in acryllic pen.

And I took the time to try an indoor scene at a dance event I was at in Spain.

Half an Inktober

Last autumn I took part in Inktober (inking each day in October to a prompt list), and also joined in for the first half of Inktober while in Porto this year.

The prompt list wasn't great this year, so I changed a few of the words a little!

Tree Lessons

And continuing with the acrylic pens, I tried my first art lesson videos, learning a couple techniques for drawing trees with the pens.

Finishing Up
