Embracing Exmouth with Tours.

It's time to embrace Exmouth by getting to know it better...

From Breakfast Tours

It's time to spend less time in the house and less time in Exeter, which means a bit more time in Exmouth.

So a good way to do that is to discover the town and meet with friends at cafes, pubs and restaurants.

It's a way of trying places I might not go and discovering some surprises. Catching up with people and getting out of the flat.

I've done this in the past with Breakfast Tours, starting in Exeter with hockey players, then again with lodgers and friends. This went on in Cardiff and in Porto with lots of breakfasts.

It's a simple procedure of visiting Every cafe / pub / breakfast place / whatever is being tested and giving it some ratings. These are just private ones for fun. I'm never going to take it seriously enough to publish them!

Exmouth Tours

I started this last year with a Breakfast Tour of (Arc, Hangtime, Coastal Beaver and Sundowners were highlights), but had to abandon ("pause") it because of funds.

Now it's time to start some light-hearted tours...

• Cafe Tour: This one is easy to do solo and I already know the cafes of Exmouth fairly well. It's a case of going through and rating choices for coffees (bit markdown if they're charging extra for oatmilk), range of cakes (because cake goes with coffee) and places to sit (depending on mood and weather)
• Eating Tour: Trying the restaurants and other places serving food. This one will take a bit longer as it's more expensive and I don't know the eateries of Exmouth so well. One best done with friends too.
• Breakfast Tour: My favourite tour and one to mix with friends and solo. Already know the breakfasts of Exmouth fairly well but if someone has to go and try them all again, it may as well be me!
• Pub Tour. Pubs have got expensive, but they are also a social hub in the UK. Time to meet a few friends, try a few beers or other beverages and see what's going on at the venues of Exmouth! Again done over a longer period than Cafes or Breakfasts.

Finishing Up

The Breakfast Tour or other Tour is something you can do in any region. It's good to do in a holistic way, going through every place on the list. Some places are sure to surprise you!
